The customer service at Menlo-Atherton Auto Repair was excellent and I would recommend them due to their honesty, friendliness, and efficiency. My car broke down on a Sunday and was towed there for them to look at in the morning. I put my keys in the overnight dropbox and on Monday morning called them, agreeing to have a diagnostic performed on my car. A few hours later, they called back and told me my transmission had gone out. They told me that they would love to do business, but at the same time said the cost of the repairs may exceed the value of the car. It was over the holidays and my car is from out of state, and they didn't pressure me to make a decision. This helped reduce stress in figuring out what to do. I decided to donate my car and with it being the end of the year, it took several days for the donation center to be able to come and collect it. Menlo-Atherton was very understanding with the situation, and they didn't even charge me for the diagnostic or the time my car sat in their parking lot. I appreciate what Menlo-Atherton did for me, and I would trust them to give honest advice. They are well-staffed, friendly, and have a quick-turn around time in getting back to you.
